Invoice addresses of the new agencies in 2010

Finland’s transport administration reform takes effect on 1 January 2010. Then the functions of the Finnish Maritime Administration will be transferred either to the Finnish Transport Agency, The Finnish Transport Safety Agency, the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Southwest Finland (ELY) or the state-owned company founded for the production operations.
 
Of the Finnish Maritime administration’s functions waterways maintenance, vessel traffic service, hydrography and winter traffic will be transferred to the Finnish Transport Agency.
 
The maritime safety functions and as a part of those the piloting function will be transferred to the Finnish Transport Safety Agency.
 
Archipelago traffic will be transferred to the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Southwest Finland (ELY).
 
A state-owned company, Meritaito Oy, will be formed for the internal production of the Finnish Maritime Administration.
 
2009 invoices can be sent to the Finnish Maritime Administration invoicing address, which is valid till 12 January 2010.
All 2010 invoices should be sent to the new invoicing addresses, where operations start on 1 January 2010.
